High-altitude camps
This aspect involves setting high-altitude camps and carrying supplies to them. Taking the gear and food up may be a somehow complex task which, in the case of large groups, requires some strategic work from high-altitude porters.
The right equipment and the right quantity and quality of fuel and food needed must be carefully and accurately planned. Choosing the right camping site, as well as the most appropriate high-altitude tents, on the other hand, can make a world of difference in the way the expedition spends their key nights before the ascent.
Porters usually help these groups to take gear and garbage away from high-altitude camps.
